Welcome to the Dilton Marsh Website

Dilton Marsh Church Dilton Marsh can be found deep in the heart of the West Wiltshire countryside, yet is easily accessible from the local major towns of Westbury, Warminster, and Trowbridge.

The village was the home of a Tannery for 200 years but it closed down in 1983.
John Betjeman wrote a poem about the railway station - Dilton Marsh Halt.
Richard Chambers and Ben Turner wrote a song - The Dilton Marsh Experience

With a population of approximately 2000 residents the village is a very self sufficient community, with its own modern primary school, pre-school, farm shop, convenience store, hairdressers, fish & chip shop, plus the usual necessary establishments: a pub, a post office and of course the Church.

With no fewer than 43 societies, clubs, groups and organisations, visitors to the village will find various activities going on throughout the year ranging from local history talks to the Dilton Marsh Carnival, where the whole village comes together for a day of fun and entertainment.
